Some Iova Blue have this patern (silver penciled).She can be mutt very easy too

It's a "he" not a "she."

Looks like a parent had the silver birchen gene.

I agree and disagree, lol. Not silver laced, definitely silver penciled, definitly not brahma unless you see some feathers on those legs that I don't see. No idea on gender but I lean towards hen as well. I would seriously doubt that they were Iowa Blues. I say mix.
