Completly depressed

When I lived in upstate NY I used to see coyotes all the time, along the throughway of all places. The problem with these critters is that they are adaptable, smart, rapid breeding, and unafraid of humans. They are like foxes in that they are even found in urban areas. They are also known to interbreed with feral dogs. They are one of the few predators, or even animals that's range has expanded in the 20th century. I don't know of any place in the US that they are protected and I think many western states still have bounties.

Sorry about your chickies. It must have scared you to death tohave those buggers in your coop.

Well at first I thought it was the neighbors dog, but when I got closer I was like OH MY. I could already see a chick in one of their mouths, so I ran inside and got the first gun I could grab. Bye the time I came out, they were about 25 yards away, I shot, dont know if it did anything though. When I went to check, I saw 1 was missing, and the other 2 were their barley alive. I brought all inside, but the injured ones on a heating pad. They made about half way through and than passed.
