Complications with ducks and chickens

I should have said they are now about 3 years old and are inseparable! All sleep together.

well does the water hurt them?

What do you mean by hurt them? My hen has been fine with the shared water so far But I always have clean fresh water in their drinking bowl once or twice daily.

I think mine are Khaki Campbell and Indian Runner duck. I rescued them so not sure! They’re great though. Funny personalities and can be loud when they see you/want feeding!
So far my hen hasn’t been poorly from sharing with them. It’s maybe something you could try and then adapt their water situation in time if you have problems?
