[*] raw potatoe peels
Not true. What is not good for them is green potato peels. That’s because the potatoes turn green when sunlight hits them and that sunlight also causes them to produce solanine, which can be harmful. One bite of green potatoes with the solanine won’t kill them. All toxins require a certain dosage to cause harm but I agree it is best to avoid it.
[*] raw eggs
Why? Because it teaches them to eat eggs? Not in my experience.
[*] apple seeds [*] peach pits
I’ll lump these together. They contain cyanide. Did you ever swallow an apple seed as a kid? I did, yet I lived. How can that possibly happen since cyanide is such a deadly poison? Simple. There is not enough cyanide in an apple seed to hurt you. Same with the chickens. I have absolutely no problem with my chickens foraging in my orchard where they eat apples with seeds, plum pits, peach pits, pears with seeds, and other things that contain cyanide. They are simply not going to eat enough to hurt them.
What I do avoid is dumping a lot of seeds where they can get to them, like when I make apple butter. But if I make an apple pie or core an apple to eat fresh, I have no problem with them eating that. There isn’t enough cyanide in a few seeds to hurt them.
[*] tomatoes
As SWGA said, tomatoes are fine. The tomato plant vines contain that solanine just like the green potato skins. Mine really like the ripe tomatoes. I notice the yolks are darker when they get ripe red tomatoes.
