What’s the best manner? Best manner isn’t always the easiest or your preferred.
I do the tarp method. Looking to make it easier on my back. Was looking into these 43 gallon compost tumblers. So many, but they all basically have the same reviews.
Anyone use these? Review on these? Are they worth it for a small garden.
I just feel that while spinning, “product” will spill out through air holes.
Plastic vs other material.
And if you don’t recommend this, what do you recommend?

We have these, and if we didn't, we wouldn't be composting.

Nothing spills unless you throw stuff in and forget to lock the door. Been there, done that!

The doors lock by turning the handle. They each have a spring pin you pull to unlock them and spin.

We started with one side, then when that got half full, we started the next one. So one is working and getting close while the other one is still being filled.

This ends up being used mostly by me for potting soil, thus I want lots of egg shells and chicken poop in it, but we also throw lots of dead oak leaves, all of our kitchen stuff in there, etc., the usual rules for composting.

I feel these would be great for you.
