A simple fer , but itz all over my side property, does anyone know if its safe for chickenz to b eating the serd head ?
There isnt much information on the net about this sweet fern , ANYONE ???

It's used medicinally, so I wouldn't be at all worried if the chickens choose to eat it. However, I highly doubt that they will eat it. I've never seen a chicken eat a fern.

Thank you for your answer, i guess i will just watch them from a study point,as my 3 shepherd do as well.they are NEW HAMPSHIRE REDS ,4 months old . They are the only chickens we hav evr had,very friendly and healthy, this is another learning experiment,building them a predator proof coop,with an enviroment condusive with keepin them alive through a MAINE WINTER.
