There is an arrow cursor that I use to scroll around on the screen. Hubby had to defrag the system and I had to reset everything back where it should be, including all the Favorites List.

This arrow drives me crazy, every time I scroll up and down, this little tiny box where the point is scrolls up and down and it would magnify everything on Farmville when I want to scroll up. ARGH!

How do I reset just for the arrow to move around without that little scrolly box?

We have HP Windows Vista.

HELP!

Vista is becoming well known for it's issues, but try right clicking and selecting Properties or going to My Computer and then the mouse program. Good luck!

Go to your control panel and click on 'Mouse'. A box will pop up and the tab you want to go to is 'Pointer Options'. That's where you can customize that.

close all windows ,

then on your desk top right click mose,

then hit personalize,

then hit mouse pointer,

then mouse properties will pop up,

then at the top hit the tap that says (buttons) ,

then turn off the click lock button in that window....

let me know if that works???

Boston, it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I played with the cursor prior to coming in here and so far no little box LOL! I used the finger board instead of the mouse so it must have been him using the wireless mouse.

Thanks and you saved my sanity!
