Computer fan in still-air styrofoam bator?

I am about fed up to ---here--- with the 1602N still air temperature spikes. Before I donate it's parts to science.... Do you think there is a way to add a computer fan to it and make it a moving air bator? Is this even possible?

I think it roasted a bunch of pheasant/chukar/duck eggs this afternoon as the temp warmed up for a nice day. I had a hard time refraining from throwing it out the window.

You can add a PC fan(or any small fan that you have, like a abttery-operated one) to the bator and it will circulate air. This works with my homemade styro-bator, so it may work with your bator. Try it and see how it works.

Yes you can add one. You can use a cell phone charger for its power. Just cut the end off and wire it up. I have one in my still air and it has helped with my hatches.

I just did this to the 1602n I am using. Works like a charm. Tore a fan out of an old pc and used a round ink pen barrel to cut up for spacers. Then I just used some small zip ties ( the kind used for wiring in cars and such) to hold it to the top. The fan from the power supply in the puter is exactly the right size. At first I used a 12 volt power supply from a radio control car. It ran to fast I thought so I found another 9 volt supply from some other kid toy and it runs nice. Quiet. I love it. The temps are very even throughout now.
