concern about my hen

Can anyone help? My BO just turned 18 weeks and this morning I heard one of the hens make a huge squawking noise after going bawk...bawk...then a large squawk after and this evening I went to pick her up and the other hens didn't want me to. then my son picked her up and there was a white substance on his arm, not sure if it was poo. But then I held her and she still had a little white creamy like on her back side, after I sat her down she started making this yawning motion I think is that normal? With no sound coming out, she didn't numerous times...wondering if she's okay.

My chickens also had the white substance just before and after they started laying for the first time (16 to 18 weeks). They have been laying for a few months now and no more white substance. Is she laying yet?

no, Just picked her up and had a towel on my lap and looked at her bottom, which she didn't seem to mind and you can easily see her vent kind of opening back and forth. So, hopefully if it was stuck wouldn't she make a lot of noise all day till it would come out?

it also, looked like there was a mucus for lubrication... I think?

How is she acting? Is she eating ,drinking and playing ok?If so, she's probably fine. Today my RSL was very lethargic, not eating or drinking like normal. She ended up laying a broken soft shell egg in the run. She was a lot better after that.

she is eating, she actually ate out of my hand. she stands funny though..like her butt is up in the air and all of her feathers are fluffed up more than usual. The top pic is today and the bottom one was take just taken aug. 1st
