Concern with locking up chickens tonight

I have my coop of four chickens with an attached run. The run is not fully secure, and because of this, every night, I close the pop door and open it every morning. Today it is VERY windy, and I'm worried about branches falling down while I'm closing up the coop. We have several large trees and a branch actually fell down earlier while I was outside. I basically need to you guys to talk me into not chickening out before going outside, because it's really important that I lock them up.

Just go do it. Personally I'd rather become a pancake attempting to lock them up than wake up the next morning to a coop full of dead chickens because I was too scared to go outside.
