Concerned -- 2 Days Soft Egg Broken Under Roost Hen Acting Off

Yes, my husband is picking up electrolytes as I type this. They are organic chickens and I don't want to give her anything that's not all natural. In lieu of not having the electrolytes I found a homemade recipe for it online and made it. Not sure if she drank much of it. I did try to give her some w/ a eye dropper, but not sure how much got in. We'll give her the electrolytes tomorrow and see what happens.

I wanted to move my 7 chicks into this coop tomorrow too!!! Blast it...I don't know what's wrong w/ her so it's probably not a good idea is it?

Using a saturated Qitp held up against the side of the beak can be a good way to get them to drink,
you don't want to squirt stuff into their mouths as they can aspirate unless you open mouth, know the anatomy and squirt it right down the right opening.

Doing an integration now would be one more stressor on her.......
.....and if she does have something infectious, might be risky for the chicks if they are to have physical contact.
Were you going to split the coop with wire wall to house the chicks? I see previously they haven't had much introductory time yet.

Ok good idea w/ the Q Tip. Thanks! Yes, they will be separated from the adults. See but no touch. We are just going to put them temporarily in another old horse stall in our barn for now until I know what's going on. Thanks again!
