These are all our chickens. 2 buff orphingtons 8 Rhode Island reds n we had 2 white leghorns but one was sick n had to put her down. We were told they were all hens but now my 1 leghorn is starting to crow n we thought he was a she n going after the others, but I'm guessing he's a rooster. The problem is that he's missing feathers in some spots n he waddles like a duck. We built the ramp for them to go in n out of the coop but he never goes in, we have to put him in at nite. It also looks like he has some bumps on his legs that I don't know if they are normal.

Yes, the white one looks like a rooster. How old are they? The bumps could be where his spurs will eventually grow in, but pictures may help. Is something wrong with the leghorn's legs? Does he walk on his hocks or elbows, or can you be more specific? If you could post a closeup picture of him from the side we can confirm that he is a rooster.

I am concerned about the bumps on his legs. Wondering if that is why he's having a hard time walking n maybe the reason he won't go up the ramp. My other concern is his feathers why they aren't growing in spots.

Okay thank you...I guess when we got him they were wrong about the sex n the breed. Is there anything we can do to make him better. Sorry new at this n I have been trying to research but guess I was researching the wrong breed.

Limit his feed and encourage exercise. The one that died probably had heart failure. It's very common for Cornish Cross to start dying from health related problems due to how large they grow, so quickly. They aren't bred for health and longevity, they are bred to grow big and fast and be butchered by 8 weeks old. By the way, you're going to need a much bigger run, the current size is way too small. Most breeds need a minimum of 10 sq ft per bird.
