1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? My first ten chickens just got into coop. This is totally new to me.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10 with 15 more coming in July. Looking for one of the polish breeds now.
(3) What breeds do you have?
10 Rhode Island reds and 15 Plymouth rocks coming in July.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The fresh eggs and now I have fallen in love with their personality.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I work a lot so besides taking care of my dogs and chickens just diamond painting.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a husband and 27 year old son who gave me 2 beautiful granddaughters. I have 2 chihuahua mix dogs and a purebred Siberian husky Along with my chickens. I drive forklift for a foundry.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
just did a search for chicken groups after I got a couple invites from a friend to a couple othergroups.
