Hello everyone, seeking some input or advice.

The house we bought had an old dog kennel area in the back, hadn't been used in 20ish years, I am wanting to convert part of it to my coop, can the coop floor remain concrete or do i need to build a floor over the concrete?

A big thanks in advance, I'm still learning all this chicken stuff and want to try and avoid mistakes if i can.

Both my coops have concrete floors. I cover the floor with shavings. Easy to clean out and nothing can match the durability.

Stick with the concrete. I have a elevated coop with wood frame floor and if I had it to do over again I would have concrete or just plain dirt
