Better concrete the entire floor or the edges? Where they sleep. There is an existing chicken coop. We want to keep out the snakes. The inside edge of the large coop?

IMO depends on what you want to do.

Concrete can be easy to power wash clean, but if you want to deep litter, it needs to be on actual soil to work.

You will need to put something like pine shavings over the concrete to protect the birds feet as hard concrete is not good for developing chick feet.

If you want to scrape concrete and power wash to clean, then it would definitely prevent snakes. If you want to deep litter, then using a concrete edge with dirt flooring would be better.

Others will have different opinions. Just my 2cents.
