I have finished my run and will be building my coop to connect to the run. I poured the run posts and set them in concrete. Do I need to set the coop posts in concrete as well or will standard framing hold up to the strong winds?

Probably a good idea to use concrete.
Might depend on your coop size and design....

....and where in this world you are located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Design and size are factors. A coop with solid walls can pick up a lot of wind load. I really want the building anchored to the ground so it cannot be blown away or shifted around.

Any wood that touches the ground needs to be treated for ground contact or a pretty expensive rot-resistant wood. Concrete might provide that good anchoring as well as protect wood from ground contact. What size and design are you looking at? It's hard for me to talk in specifics if I don't even know the general stuff.

Really depends on the size and style of the coop. My 6x8 walk-in coops are sitting on the ground. We had gusts of 60-70 mph last yr, and they haven't moved.

Fence posts set in concrete do not last as long as fence posts set without concrete. I assume it would be the same for coop posts. If you are worried about the posts pulling up, a way to secure them is to use a few nails to attach a board to the bottom of the post and perpendicular to the post.
