THis post makes me miss my Marans boys

They were such sweet guys! The little Ameraucana boy is a #@$% and I will probably cull him even though he is to small to eat he is just terrible already!

LOL awww glad he's happy to be home and i'm glad you're happy he's home, too!

We traded our RIR rooster(Ty) for a splash cochin rooster at a meeting last Summer. Luckily we don't regret it now. He used to crow ALL the time!!!

But we already had a RIR rooster(his brother, Marty) so we decided we didn't need him. He wasn't nice to us either(bites, chases us, etc.) So, we brought him to the meeting, traded him, and got our new rooster. We said good bye to him. It was sad, seeing him go, since we had raised him as a chick.

Yes, I almost cried when we said good bye to him. But he's happy now because I have heard that he lives with someone else and he has his very own flock of RIR girls!

So it's all good.
Still kinda miss him but not much.
