Spill the beans. What's something you do for/with your chickens that others would side eye? Maybe something slightly (or very) embarrassing? I'll go first.

1. My husband and I narrate the chickens' thoughts with a special "chicken voice" (turns out our chickens are pretty sassy ). We try not to use it in the company of others, but sometimes it slips out.
2. I have motivational signs in the chicken run. This is quite out of character for me, but I wanted to decorate!

I talk to mine like they're a class of schoolchildren. And while chicken keepers would understand, most people don't - I make them oatmeal complete with toppings in winter and yogurt parfait in the summer!

The closest I get is yelling, "No more pooping! No more molting! Molt is OVER!" But they never listen...

Sometimes I give them a bedtime blessing. Or not, if someone comes out to help me.
