Confessions of a collector

I am so NOT a pack rat I'm a chucker totally, and I keep zip for sentimental reason, I can understand you need to get rid of stuff but really you do need the oboe keep it it's been good to you, as for the rest start pitching. My husband is a pack rat but when I remind him that whatever it is he's parting with will do someone else good and not just sit around and rot or get outdated or whatever then its easier. Good luck, and put that oboe (whatever that is) back on the shelf where it belongs!

I realize that this post was from long ago, but I just stumbled upon it. I know that if I was in that situation, the last thing I would ever be able to sell would be my oboe...any of them. Especially my first one! Until I have children of my own, my oboe will always be my baby. I go to it whenever I need to relax, release anger, or just want to make beautiful music.

I MUST know- did you end up selling it?
