With a May 30 hatch date, these are unquestionably roos, yes? (Compared to the (different breed) pullet in their hatch, it's
obvious, but juuuust in case it's a breed thing that I'm not aware of...)

They have pea combs that look rooish. They look like mixed breed birds. I would wait for an egg or a crow. Nothing is screaming male to me yet.

Mixed breeds - Papa is the Ameraucana, and Mama I'm guessing is either one of the chocolate cuckoos, or the sunset coloured mix.Do you know what breed they are supposed to be?
The comb is wrong for Barred Rock, but I don't think it looks right for Dominque either.
You are probably right about the gender, but I'm not 100% positive.
One trick for any time you are butchering but unsure of gender: check as you butcher each one. (Males have testicles inside, up in the middle of the back. They look rather like white beans, with the size varying depending on the size of the bird.)
If you were wrong on one, you can spare the other. If you were right on the first one, you are probably right on the second one.
And finding that I was right makes me so much happier than forever wondering if it really was a pullet![]()
