These hatched on March 10th. I ordered 2 female Pilgrims. Is that what I got? Because I'm really doubting it . . .

The down is greyish but the feathers are white. The picture posted by Rock Wyandotte on this thread is what made me stop and think that my geese aren't what I ordered. Am I wrong and they start out feathering in white?

It's an auto-sex breed. Male pilgrims are white, and females are grey. Southern Girl ordered straight run and got a bunch of males in her order, which is why hers are white.

Is there another breed they look more like? Or maybe just poor quality Pilgrims? I didn't put a high priority on looks at all, but I did have a very high priority on health, breed, and gender. They are healthy, I'm grateful for that. Here's the thread where I posted pictures of them when they were younger. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=307911

I received an email from them several minutes ago (I've always been amazed at how quickly they get back to me). Part of the email explained that they cannot color sex their Pilgrim goslings due to their breeding program, that they must be vent sexed.
