From the beginning I thought these two were something they are now not appearing to be ha ha.

#1 - The grey is an EE (I think - that's a cross with Americauna correct?) But from what I read here, I thought that EE could have muffs or a beard but not both, and needed to have grey legs. So I'm confused about that part.
We assumed she was a hen. No wattles that I can feel when she's roosting at night, didn't want to turn on a light and scare her. Then she crowed last week. It was while we were moving them to their new coop and I thought it might be a stressed thing because she was out first and I thought maybe she was calling to the others. But it's happened a few more times this week. This morning she was first out of the coop, then went back in and checked for others - which I assume is rooster behaviour? And...today I see these hackle feathers sprouting. Argh. She's actually a cockerel with no wattles isn't she? And is s(he) an EE?

#2 - I thought this one was an Americauna (one pb was supposed to be in the batch) and we figured from behaviour when she was younger that she was a cockerel....but there's no wattles and not much comb either. Or muffs, or beard lol. Definitely has grey legs though. She's calmed down a lot and isn't nearly as combative as she was. She's a hen??? And an Americauna??

The first one looks like a cokerel, and the second looks like a pullet. Can you take pictures of their full bodies, including the tail area?
The first one is definitely an EE. Since they are mutts and not actually a true breed, they can have any color legs, any type comb, etc. They reason you don't feel wattles is because Birds with muffs don't get wattles.
The second one I'm not sure on breed. I need to see the whole bird.

Got busy and was away from the forum. Here are body shots of the Americauna. The grey is very much a cockerel now lol. No question. Still hoping this one is a hen though.
