Oh we don't. See, I made quite a few errors in this article. We no longer have five roosters in a cage, as one of the roosters got hit by a car and is no longer with us . One rooster stays out too, so we only have 3 roos in the cage and only overnight. They get a pretty spacious run and access to food and water during the day and can see the hens and talk to them through the fence.

Sorry I used the wrong word. I didn't mean "stupid", I meant something more along the lines of "odd". Unfortunately I can't edit the article anymore so there's not much I can do.

okie dokie, well just know that you cant change a roosters behavior so if one gets overly agressive, theres no reason to keep him if it complicates things.
