Confused...bought as lavender orpington eggs?

I bought hatching eggs from someone as lavender orpington eggs. I saw her birds myself and they were lavender orps. Once hatched they have no lavender on them.. they are all yellow. I double checked with her and asked if they got mixed and she said no they were pure lavender orpingtons. They are the yellow ones in the pics.

Sorry, but those don’t look like lavender Orpingtons. I would send her a pic and not buy from her again.They are adorable though!

Maybe from blue Orpington parents that looked like lavender Orpington’s? That would be my guess.

You’re lucky - here’s my “Lavender Orpington” hatched from an egg that I purchased from a local “breeder”.

They look like Buff Orpingtons to me. I personally love my BOs. They are beautiful and sweet, and good layers. So it's not all bad.

That I don't know. Just saying what they look like. I got mine as chicks and they looked like that. LOL Whatever they are I hope they are lovely birds for you!

Sorry, those don't resemble Lavender Orpington chicks. They would have some grey on them, or be all grey.
