Confused on feeding ....

Would an All Purpose livestock pellet be a good chicken/duck feed? It comes in 12&16%.

I think that is what blucoondog was saying the "all flock"

Well All Flock is not an all purpose livestock feed, live stock insinuates all stock to include cows horses goats sheep pigs poultry etc, All Flock is a fowl feed. I would make sure you are using a feed recommended for birds not just any old feed that has the same protein, would it hurt? I do not know but I wouldn't do it.

I am confused why you wrote this? I dont see where anyone mentioned that they are withholding food or water?

I need help on feeding and how much water I should make available for our chickens....
....So any food ideas I would love for you to share! Thanks!

I knew to give them water all the time just wondered how much they go through typically.

It really depends on the weather if its hot they consume twice as much. Also depending on your flocks size. Always give fresh water and clean water out daily.certain alage can actually be poision to chickens so id make sure containers are cleaned daily.
