Confused Vaccination

I don't know if i should get my chicks vaccinated or not.

- I want to show them at my 4-H Fair
- My neighbors have chickens
- and im always around chickens weather it be with 4-H or at school.

So should i vaccinate or not? What should i Vaccinate for? and when my chicks in the 'bator hatch, should they be vaccinated too?

Okay, dad just took care of the order, they chicks are getting Vac for the Mericks. so now i need to figure out how to give a chick a shot so i can do the ones in the 'bator... good thing my vet lives across the street!

Others may add later, but to my knowledge vaccinating for Mareks is the most important one...I had a pullet die from Marek's once and now all will be vaccinated. if you do a google search, there are a few places that describe how to vaccinate the chicks yourself. Ask your vet across the street if they will come and help you out.

Lol, thanks. I know how to give shots, but on a lil'bity chick?!?!? lol. Im acutally in a Vet Tech class right now.
