Hi, I received a free chick with my meat birds. Via a post on here and observations. We concluded it must be a male. The chicken is an Easter Egger. However, today there was a teeny tiny blue egg in my coop! The only chicken it can be from is this one because everyone else is 18 months and older. The other thing that confuses me is I swear I saw the chicken in question mate with my buttercup yesterday! The chicken is about 17 weeks old! Any ideas? I guess see if it continues?

It's 17 weeks old. I have 2 other blue egg layers but they lay big eggs. The other two are 18 months old. Everyone else in the coop lay browns to whites. This chicken is the only young one. I'll have to see if it progressively gets bigger?
