So we got noting to do with that problemhaha -you are not alone
I have 2 females paired and raising one baby. Also have one cockbird with 2 hens, each sitting on 2 eggs!![]()
So we got noting to do with that problem
Hi.., actually my female not sitting on eggs and only male was sitting all the time. .., hen lost her Intrest on eggs...., after hatch can female feed chicks?Just leave them to it. Things will work out in the end. You might find that the males will still mate with the other females about (because they are always cheating on their mates). So the hens should get fertile eggs.. and they will hatch them out. You could even put some eggs in the nest of the 2 males to raise as foster parents.
I learnt to just not get involved in the birds personal lives LOL. It always ended in disaster if I disrupted the birds like that. I have had all sorts of different relationships going on in the coop.... and I just now accept it as interesting aspect of their behaviour. I have males pair with males, females with females, one female with 3 males laying eggs in their nests like a cuckoo bird, and even 2 female pigeons accidently hatch and successfully raise a baby bantam chicken (when one of my bantams sneaked an egg into their nest without me knowing).
