I have five chicks and and I am pretty sure they are all roos, however two are in question....They are both the product of a red sex link mother and a EE father. Their hackle feathers appear very small and pointy and I'm pretty sure that they are starting to get silky saddle feathers. Their tails seem to be longer than any of my adult hens and they hold them very upright most of the time. One has a single greenish black tail feather, but otherwise their tails are white with some red tinting. Both of these chicks are 13 weeks old. No crowing yet, but one of them appeared to squat for one of my other young roos the other day (the other roo was clueless and just looked a chick in question like it was stupid). Their appearance and behavior seem to contradict each other. I am sure they are probably roos...but don't want to rehome them yet in an off chance that I am wrong.

Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
