Hey guyz i am new here i need your help..i am having two ducks one is of 3 weeks old male and one is 4-5 weeks old female....
I don't understand what happened to my female duck she is almost 4 weeks old and her hairs looks like dried and i can see pinkish skin of her near her eyes and wings..i am confused is it normal or else some serious problem is there?i am soo confused

Do the feathers feel crusty? If so she probably just didn't groom after getting wet. If the feathers are stuck together it tends to show some skin

Yea..after having bath they themselves make their feathers dry..i usually leave them under the sun all day..does this cause falling off her hairs?

Have you noticed your duckling scratching around her face? she maybe itchy and scratching the down out. Do you notice any feather shafts coming in where the down is missing. She should be starting to get in her feathers. What are you feeding your ducklings @heabah

I think your ducklings maybe lacking in some important nutrients. How do you feed the rice? Is it cook or raw? but Rice and oats does not make up what ducklings need in their diet to be healthy what about chicken feed can you get it? Most of us can't find food for water fowl so we feed chicken feed. And it needs to be formulated for young poultry too not layer feed that has too much calcium for ducklings. Your lil duck should be showing more feather development I can't see the other one very well so not sure what the feathers are like on it. I think if you can get some feed appropriate for their ages your duckling have a good chance of being healthy but I think if you keep feeding them what you are they are going to suffer in their health. I am sorry to upset you but you need to know this so you can help your ducklings be as healthy as they can be.
