I'm currently treating my polish girl for a uri, she is getting better, but the congestion is just so extreme in her mouth & throat. Is there anything else I can do to help or break up?

I'm in the US, Oregon. Treating her with Oxytetrecycline & no bad odor. There is nothing in her mouth aside from phlegm. It all started in one eye, but progressed through both & then her break throat & lungs.

I used terramycin in her eyes & they actually looked much much better, it's just so thick in her throat

Her eyes have completely cleared up, but she's still not eating or drinking on her own & she's so rattly from all the congestion. Should I be force feeding her still? She hates it so much. She's in a Tupperware box & barely moves around also my three other older chickens are developing the same thing

How long should I treat her before I decide to cull? she's my 3 year Olds chicken that she loves very much, so that won't be a easy choice

I'm so very sorry to hear she's not improving. It always seems to be a favorite that is ailing, so heartbreaking!

Oxytetracycline can help relieve symptoms from Mycoplasma, but she may have something else going on as well.
It's concerning that your other ones are beginning to show signs of illness as well.
How are you keeping them? Do they have plenty of space and ventilation?

No one can give you a definitive answer on when it's time to cull, you are the one that sees her and can best access what condition she is in. If vet care is an option that would be good.
