(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm very new to chickens I've had my 6 girls 2 weeks
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 6 at the moment there's more in the incubator
(3) What breeds do you have? My 6 girls are mixed breed chicks from the rescue. I have 6 Polish in the incubator and 6 cayuga ducks waiting to hatch
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? It gives me a reason to go outside and it's really good for my mental health and I get to rescue chickens
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I play ukulele, I crochet and I sew
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have a rescue Staffie called Max and 3 Giant African Land Snails and a mealworm farm. I have 1 bio daughter and 7 stepkids and 4 grandkids
