So o just hatched my first batch of the year… I am not new to chickens or ducks and have seen treated pretty much everything, but this…
One of my ducklings has another duckling complete with two legs and feet and feathers coming out of its abdomen!! Any one ever seen anything like this before?

How's your duckling doing? I had a duck egg once that failed to hatch (DIS) and when eggtopsied, the duckling had a head malformation where it looked like an additional bill had partially formed right next to the primary one...probable twin.

Wow. Never seen anything like that! I know @Ceciliasflock had a chick with 4 legs or something.

So far it’s fine… they aren’t eating yet as they are only a few hours old..

Nope just one head, the second body with two feet is coming from its abdomen

It hatched normally.. I didn’t even notice it until my son pointed it out.. they are walking out for under the heat plate..
