Hi, I just lost my second bird in the last 3 weeks. The first was an older hen, so while it raised some questions I wasn't overly concerned. This evening I just lost a second bird, this one was under two years old. I hadn't noticed any symptoms but I thought I remembered that poultry necropsies were free in state. Now as I'm looking on the uconn site it looks like they are charging $90! I can call the state vet in the morning to confirm this, but is there anyone here who has used this service lately who could advise?
