Welcome! I did the same thing - I lurked for months and then joined when husband and I began making plans to have our own mini-flock. I was pushing hard for them. DH liked the idea but it took him a bit longer to come fully on-board.

It was a big help in getting him on-board for him to know that we had a resource like BYC to come to with questions. Hope you decide to jump in!
