Hi everyone.

Ive been lurking over here for several months, learning about keets and adults, and in Alot of stories, I laughed so hard .::caf :gig

I think my favorite thread is the one called " Just a funny pic" , with the one guinea that seriously does look like a grandma on her front porch with white facial cream on her face and her hair up in a big curler, yelling at kids in her yard !!:lau

Then the guinea that looks like a nightclub singer who would be sitting on the piano..luv it..

I am very interested in having about 2, to join my feathered family of ducks and various breeds of chickens .

Around April 30, I have some silkies, cochins aand 2 millies babies coming, and I would like the keets to brood with them.

My Problem is...I am hoping someone here could help me out where I could buy the keets from you. As we all know, hatcheries have huge minimums in order to send them, and I can Not use 15 or so keets..

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated..

My brooder is all set up and ready for babies anytime, so if anyone would send me maybe no more than 3 , that would be GREAT..:weee

Thanks..

Here are a couple of Guinea Fowl Breeders Lists, Click Here and Click Here . You may be able to find a breeder in your area, or close to your area that can set you up with just a couple of cute keets. I'd also check your local craigslist online (Farm & Garden section) for your area and surrounding areas. You may be able to find a local breeder that sells keets (with no minimum order) that way too. And you can always post a "Keets Wanted" ad there if you don't see any keets listed. You might also want to check all of the bulletin boards at your local feed and farm stores too, or even print out and post "Keets Wanted" flyers there.

Good luck on your keet quest!

Thank you Peeps for that info and I will be checking it out.

Unfortunately, where I live, there are NO feed stores, just TSC, and the Upper Michigan CL is a total joke..It seems that just about Anything you look for, is not found in my area and to try Wisconsin and Minnesota.

I so hate it here, but what can I do but try to make things fun..

I have also thought of hatching them along with some chicks if I cant find a few chicks through BYC.

Thanks again.
