Since I have been cutting back on birds(for winter), I have Really been thinking about my Self Blue Muscovies....
I only have a few(4) but I am considering selling them because i think that they really should be seperated off from the rest of the flock, for breeding, to keep the color true... my boy is so stinkin pretty and i just know he would make some gorgeous babies, i just don't have the help to build a new, good pen and house for the group. I have been planning, since last year, to build 2 seperate breeding pens for my Scovies but it hasn't happened so far... I think, maybe a little, because i have overwhelmed myself with wanting to keep the different colors, whch would require more than 2 pens!
I think if i sell the group then I can get back to focusing on the others and getting everyone organized...
Why must they all be so pretty? and loveable?
