Since I've started we've had feed available 100% of the time. And my mom said Wow the rooster is as big as a TURKEY... is that normal? I respond maybe Apollo Creeds Just gaining weight for his next fight! Should I slim down on the feeding?

Is there any possibility that you have a Cornish X? They are eating/growing machines. The drawback is that they do not have a very long lifespan.

    Picture of the bird?

I've always free fed my birds and they look healthy.

There's not much for scale but he looks like a normal dual purpose rooster to me.
