Constipated ducks? I'm worried

So tonight my ducks decided to take a late trip to the pond, so i went down and got them once they climbed out and started going through the edges for all the bugs. i told them time for bed and they trucked right up to the house. my mom brought out some watermelon for them, and they ate a couple pieces, but all the bugs that were coming out were more fun. they were standing on the driveway cleaning themselves when i noticed one had poop hanging from his but. it looked like he was trying really hard to push it out. then a moment later, the other drake had the same thing. the poop disappeared but i'm not sure if they pushed it out or if it went back in. i'm really worried about it though. they haven't been eating anything wierd, just their normal diet of bugs, duck food, pond scum, and they had some watermelon right before this. its their special treat and we normally only give them the melon left after we take out what we eat, so the stuff on the rine, they don't eat much of it. why could they be consptipated? i'm really worried. is there something wrong and is there something i can do? will they be okay tonight?

eta: they pooped right when i was bringing them home from the pond.

well they are staying in the garage ever since we lost slushie and chubby so they stay safe, and i went out and they have been pooping. (they are on hay, not the cement. and they are blocked off to a small clean section so they can't get hurt) hopefully there is nothing wrong. i keep checking on them and i think they are getting mad. i wake them up.

it looks more runny than normal. they have food and water available all day, even at night. they are allowed to eat and drink whenever they want to

i just checked on them again, and their manure seems to be turning back to normal. this time, i was able to not wake them up! lol. hopefully they are fine now.

I bet that their actual dropping consistency was due to more water in what they ate - the watermelon. I wouldn't be too worried about that, though I would still just watch them.

Brilliant that they're in the garage!

They are indeed spoiled! That makes me worry a little less about your losing them. Yay.

Good news overall!
