Construction finished on my Silkies coop expansion

@NNYchick here’s my silkie tractor and coop addition , they spend everyday in the tractor unless it’s raining

I’m sad I didn’t get to paint their coop as it was January when we built it , maybe next year ...

My hubbys a journeyman Carpenter , he always has a list from me ( makes him feel important)

Ps the corner shelf is for the egg basket during cold months , they’d never make it that high up

@snow5164 i took your recommendation and found taller stumps to add and put the smaller stumps back in front of windows for the boys. A couple of my boys jumped right up into flock guardian position.

That’s a beautiful coop! I’m a first timer with chickens and just have 3 Silkies that are still in the brooder. Trying to find a “short setup” and I love your stump idea!
