Ok, you want to see it, well it might look good but paint does hide alot of defects, I have to push the bottom of the coop door to close it, the run door is out of square, if you look closely you can see the bottom left part of the door is touching the bottom 2 by 4 and the right bottom side has a nice 3/4 in gap. By the way, the coop door hinges really squeek cuz their not put on straight, but the chickens don't mind at all!
Oh, and the back left corner has already settled about an inch and the wood siding is touching dirt, so in a few years it may be all rotted, so I have to fix that sooner than later..
If you take a close look at the run framing and try to line them up to each other you'll see that it leans to the left about 2 inches... looks good but far from perfect..
My Dad always told me anything worth doing is worth doing right. I appreciate your concern for correctness and with a resource like BYC I am confident if you have the time and patience, you'll get a lot of great ideas and answers to your questions.
trunkman, if I,m seeing right, you have a gap @ the top of your coop door. Take the brace loose at the top, wedge the bottom of the door up half the distance to the top and re-attach the brace. Should work. Looks very good for your first time!

A method I use to set post by myself is to nail or screw the braces to the post, drive stakes and then use C-clamps to hold the brace to the stakes. You can check and correct untill plumb, just loosen the C-clamp and adjust.
