Construction Ideas are appreciated.

IMG_0284.JPG IMG_0250.JPG I am finishing all the final details on a pallet wood coop myself. It's a simple single slope roof on a big 4 x 8 frame that is tall enough for me to stoop inside.

I have now finished the plans. I will not take full credit for this because I got the cariagge type coop idea from Justin Rhodes on youtube you should really go watch some of his videos because their great. The feature that this coop has are

It is 40 inches tall which is the height of the standard deckboard of a pallet which are the things that go along it. ( I messed up on the outline and made it 36 inches tall but It should actually be 40 inches tall just think in your head 40 inches.
There is enough space for 6 chickens at the very very max but I would recommend having the most chickens be 5.

There is 5 feet of roost space making enough roost space of 7 1/2 chickens at the max roosting.(I feel bad for that half a chicken )

There are 2 easily accessible nesting nesting boxes.

There are ventilation holes on the sides of the coop allow for great amount of ventilation reducing the amount of ammonia and stuffiness.

There are two large wheels on either side of the coop to allow mobility.

Stats:

The coop is 2ft off of the ground
The coop is 40 inches tall and has a 4.5ft by 4.5 base on the bottom.
The nesting boxes dimensions are H 9in W 12in L 12in

I am now going to take pictures and post them I really hope you like them if you have any questions please feel free to ask even if your not red woods 99 I would be happy to take your comment and questions or ideas.
