Came home to a surprise of baby chicks. Love at first site.
 


My daughter watching TV in my bed with 'Cupcake' a single white silkie survivor from 6 eggs abandoned by a broody and finished in the incubator. Cupcake turned out to be a roo but my daughter spent every minute with him.

Silkie toos make great pets to! Was she able to keep him?
 
He stayed around until he was 2. Then he started guarding his girls a little too much. My hubby called him B2 cos he siddled in and stealth bombed your ankles when you were hanging out washing etc. You wouldn't expect it of a chick who was hand reared so thoroughly
