Broody Cluckles insisted on taking her two chicks out for a spin in the rain. Chicks stayed nicely dry (here hidden under mama), but Cluckles got drenched!
My drake was playing in the mud & then decided to take a swim!
Cookie: *sigh*
She got in a scuffle, got a little battered and needed a bath.

Beatrice wasn't very happy... it had been pouring rain and she was in the middle of a molt!
Bessie is our head rooster and has to look his best at all times, which means a full bath in the kitchen sink from time to time ............
and blowing dry so he doesn't catch a chill.
He gets so sleepy during the blow drying that he finishes his nap on the master bed and his favorite pink blanket.
