I Love it! IT must have taken u at least a day to paint it, right?

Oh, you aren't going to like what I'm about to say, haha! I swear, I am not bragging when I say it took me 2 hours, including drying time between layers of paint. The muses had taken me by the time I started painting the trees, haha!

I tried to dye some and they were worse than the 3 year old's...

2nd entry :
I am still hoping to finish a fourth and possibly fifth egg before the 12:00 deadline, but just in case I am putting up a photo of the three I have done so far. They are done freehand with a "pigma micron 05" marker.

edit: finished two more eggs. I used a sharpie for the last two, it is nice because it doest smudge, but terrible because the point is so much BIGGER than my first pen.






and I think that I get bonus points (that don't count towards anything) for finishing the last egg while holding my 1 year old

WOW!!!!!!!!!! Thats fast ... you must have a lot of free time to get two hours undisturbed or your truely a fast and talented artist!

This is our first year with Easter Egger hens. Since our eggs are already colored, the kids simply applied stickers to our hard boiled eggs. Although extremely easy, they ended up looking very nice.

Now, I don't mean to point anyone out, but I think the rules say you can only enter photos with 1-5 eggs. Someone told me my original photo had too many eggs in it and I was really thankful that they let me know so I could take a new photo- I just don't want anyone to get disqualified because they have extra eggs- i know I would be really bummed if that happened to me. unless we are skipping that rule? in which case I will start decorating more eggs for a cooler photo haha

Yeah, I noticed some other that had too many also. But I think your new photo is awesome! I saw the first one and I like the colors in the second one better.

Especially the blueish purple one- that's my favorite.
