This is Miracle, my little RIR. She survived temps from 82-115 degrees (accidently) while she was incubating, and after she was pipped for 2 days I had to help her hatch. She was the only one to survive! She is 5 weeks old now, and the SWEETEST chick! The older chicks haven't accepted her(well, all but a certain Cochin roo!),so she comes and stands between my feet for protection!

Sadly, i have never had any chicks, just ducklings. I'm just getting started with chickens, I got started pullets and they just started laying. I would really like some of your eggs so I could hatch them out and have some cute baby chicks.....until then, here are my cutest pictures(of my ducklings)

I'm so sorry. 14 of my chickens were mauled by a pit bull. Lucky it wasn't my 75.00 and 150.00 or more splash she was given to me.

Yeah he was an Asil/ Frizzle mix and was my only one without leg feathers so i wanted to see how he turned out... I guess i'll have to hatch more

Here's my cutest picture... well... cutest series of pictures!
This little white silkie was too tuckered out to finish our "photoshoot." She just tipped over, head first, while watching me continue to take her pic!

I tried one last time to get her to stand up... she plopped right back down & closed her eyes.
(I gave up.)

She's a little older now, but she likes to cuddle & sleep. Her name is Lucky.
