I know you didn't ask for opinions, but I do think that the person who submitted the name "Copper Marans", hit exactly the right note. . . that is a terrific name for just such a bistro. You might want to consider "Copper Maran Bistro" too, but if you like that, the eggs still go to the person who suggested copper marans!

I have not read all the posts. There is a bar in the "city" here nicknamed The OP. It is short for The Other Place. I think it would work for a restaurant just as well as a bar. Or That Other Place.

We have a little bar here called "The Goat" its actually a fun place... and its not in the country, it is actually down the street from NCSU in Raleigh. I used to live behind it so I could just walk on the weekends.

We also have a Cafe in our tiny town called The Home Cafe. Not very clever but very simple and easy thing to remember. m Conveys a message of home cooking too.
