I wanted to play but man I don't know if I can do it just glancing I think think I only know one so will give it some more thought. Great Idea though I got an assortment of MMC in April it was fun figureing out what everybody was ( I was hoping that would help me with your contest but I think I only have one that you got)

but the kids and I have looked at the picture and will email you later on the names we have picked out for them. have to decide on a few that we could agree on.

Please do send the names. The kids sometimes have insight into these things. They may know the perfect ones. Of course I am only naming the girls, and one boy. That is all that I can keep. Well, in fact I am not sure I can keep most of those, but I am going to try.

Like you, McMurray had a tough time on the Reds and Blacks. So I am going to have to make some determinations myself based on all of the info I have gathered online. If McMurray couldn't pin it down, I will give anybody who guessed one of their (two possibles) a point for it. So, I think, one point for breed, one point for gender on each of the 38 for a total of 76 points.

I think I would like to take tonight and possibly part of tomorrow if I get sleepy to make my determination. Of course if I have an answer sooner, I will post right away and send the winner an email also. I am going to have to do a coop comparison based on a suggestion from Murray McMurray. If I decide to do it again tomorrow in the early light, I may not know until then. So let's set me a deadline of Friday (Tomorrow) noon at the latest. I will likely know much sooner than that.

There is still t3 3/4 hours to enter a second time for some of you. And also the bonus contest with the surprise gift from me for the names of my girls, and the one Rooster that I decide to keep(Hard decision as they are mostly really nice males in my bunch.). I will continue that part of the contest until I post the results.

It sure is hard to write this while my Handyman's Blue Healer is chasing flys around me.... (Do I need a bath, or is it the figs I am trying to ripen?..

Sorry to put this off so long. It was much harder of a contest than I realized. I applaud you brave souls who participated.

I wanted to try, but after an hour of working on it I just thought it would take too much time. The reds, buffs and blacks are definitiely the hardest for me too. I looked at leg color to determine. It will be interesting to me to find out what they are. I am especially wondering if I was right on those little ones(B&Ws)
