wow, over 3000 posts in a bit over three hours! Of course some didn't have a lot of content ;-0

The first post in this thread said post your worst hatching stories. So here are mine.

Set set a dozen BRxBO and 7 Welsummer (all mine) all the BRxBO hatched, all roos. 4 Wellies hatched, 1 roo

Oct, set 13 black copper marans eggs (shipped) and 14 barred rock X buff orpington (mine) 100% hatch on mine, all roos.(and one failure to thrive.) Two BCM, both roos.

Nov. Set 19 Welsummer (shipped) and 4 Ameraucauna (shipped) and the last 6 eggs layed by my barred rock girls before the dogs got them. Hatched 2 Wellies, lost one, failure to thrive, 2 Ameraucauna (probably boys) and 4 from my barred rock girls. (all boys)

So not doing so hot in the hatching dept. Have a hovabator and it seems to jump up hot about day ten or twelve. Think I'll buy a Genesis with the income tax money.

We got sad by all the bad hatching stories, so we started having fun.
