here's my letter to nifty chicken


Hi Nifty-Chicken!

Oh wow..this NYD hatch has been specatacular! I didn't participate in terms of hatching this year...but the quality of people joining in suckered me to participate in terms of hanging out with this fabulous crew. I loved when mahonri sponsored it but the way CrazyPetLady, Mrheinz77, mstricer, and Chiquita have breathed life into this is so amazing. I just don't know how they find the time to do what they, take care of their flocks and families and still motivate and inspire us.

The best part is how much the educate us. Sure they are hilarious and good for a laugh but they will stop what they are doing to really help you understand hatching, not just as a hobby but as an artform. Their generosity is only surpassed by their amazing dedication. This has been absolutely a blast for me, and I gotta say...I thought my decorated egg was pretty good...but the other ones...AMAZING! Thats got to be my favorite part, seeing other people excel at their craft other than just hatching eggs. So..I just really wanted to take the time to let you know how amazing these guys are and thank you for allowing us to take up so much thread space!!!
